Siemens Gamesa
Automation gives wings
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has and advanced production of windmills. Gain & Co reviewed the production of windmills to identify areas with the greatest potential for automation. Based on this, Siemens has chosen a number of processes for further analysis, which will make the company capable of estimating the gains from automation, as well as formulate precise demand specifications for future robot vendors.

Espersen
Fish factory has its robot potential estimated
Espersen is one of the world leaders in processing of fish to frozen and breaded fish products. Gain & Co reviewed the Polish production and estimated the potential for automation. With insights into which processes that can be advantageously automated, the business is now capable of proceeding with its robot project on a well-informed basis.

Zealand University Hospital, Køge
Hospital becomes ready to implementation of logistics robots
Region Zealand is to build a ‘super hospital’ in Køge. The new constructions are to be combined with existing buildings, and gain & Co has in cooperation with the project investigated how existing as well as upcoming facilities can be prepared for implementation of mobile logistics robots. The counselling has served as a guideline for ongoing construction work as well as assisted the hospital with preparing existing buildings and facilities for a successful robot implementation.

West Incineration Plant
Technical advice helps prepare for robotic sorting of bulky waste
West Incineration (Vestforbrænding) is Denmark’s largest waste management business. In 2018, the company piloted development of a new robotic facility for sorting of bulky waste. Gain & Co served as external consultant for the project and delivered inputs on the technical demand specification. The guidance allowed the project group to dimension the project, and it delivered necessary insights to design a qualified tender and receive offers for the right robot solution.

Mikkelsen Electronics
Electronics company was matched with the right integrators
Mikkelsen Electronics is an electronics business with particular focus on cabling and mold-casting electronics. Gain & Co has performed an automation screening and for a particular molding process performed potential calculations and demand specifications. Gain & Co has beyond this identified suitable integrators in the market with experience from similar projects, enabling the company to collect specific offers from the right integrators.

Beck Pack Systems
Packaging producer finds robot vendor and overcomes important hurdle
Beck Pack System produces packaging for wrapping and freezing food products. The company knew about the potential advantages of automation, but was under the impression that no such solutions existed for exactly their needs. After analysis and description of processes in production, Gain & Co nevertheless succeeded in locating and collecting offers from three vendors, and the company thus became able to progress with automation.

OJ Electronics
Elektronics producer avoids dubious robot investment
Gain & Co in 2018 analyzed the automation potential of electronics producer OJ Electronics’, and calculated a business case for one production line, which visualized the potential gains from investing in automation. The investigation showed, that gains from automating the process in question did not match the necessary investment, by which OJ Electronics was spared an unnecessary robot purchase. Gain & Go has since been invited to investigate other production lines within the company to give similar clarification.
Linatech
Automation screening gives machine factory direction in investment project
Linatech is a machine factory which produces processing plants, machines and components of high quality. Gain & Co performed an automation screening of the companies production. The screening has given the director a good benchmark for which processes would give the greatest payoff if automated, and which robot solutions Linatech advantageously can invest in.

Funderholme Smithy
Metal business discovers its robot potential and is prepared to invest
Funderholme Smithy (Funderholme Smedie) is a production company, which produces balconies, stairways, gates and more. Gain & Co analyzed the smithy’s robot potential and made the company aware of the extent of reservations and pitfalls related to automation. This has prepared the company for a successful implementation of robots and thus helped them on their way towards a better investment.

Skanroll
Optimizing production eases future robot implementation
Skanroll produces drums, rollers, transport system for use in machine plants and more. Gain & Co visited the business and mapped the robot potential of the production lines. Gain & Co pointed out how one could advantageously automate, and how a general optimization of production could ease future implementation of robot technology. This insight has given direction to the further work of the company and helped them begin automating.
DEIF
Global energy-controller producer discovers potential for robots
DEIF is a global producer and vendor of products for energy control.
